Music has always been my passion. At the age of 9, I began playing trumpet and at age 12, I started learning piano and guitar. I have also grown to enjoy singing. Public performances have always been a part of my life and I love that I am able to sit in with all different types of performing groups.
One of the most important and fun aspects of my life is FAMILY! My parents have always been AMAZING and if it weren’t for them, some key choices they made as they were raising my brother and I, and all their love and support, I would NOT be where I am today. Though we’re about 3 hours apart, I’m close with my brother Billy, his wife Troya, and their 3 amazing children. (Thank you Snapchat).
My mom is number 8 of 9 kids so we have a pretty big family. I’ve always been very close with all my cousins and there is NEVER a dull moment. Plus, there are always babies and toddlers around which is fun.
On May 24th, 2015 my cousin Joe tragically passed away at age 23. He was hilarious, full of life, and a body builder. This is why you will see #GrowForJoe or #FlexForBean in a lot of my posts and the flexing arm in my logo is dedicated to him.
Besides music and family, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, walking (though you won’t catch me running), skiing, sailing and swimming. For the past few years, I’ve participated in the Save the Bay swim which is a fundraiser to support the Narragansett bay here in Newport, Rhode Island. This is a 1.7 nautical mile swim that runs parallel to the Pell bridge. It is both challenging and fun!
I LOVE to travel and am looking forward to planning some great trips in the near future with my boyfriend Bob (AKA Fat Free Bob look it up).
